Vexlyx vs Dokploy
Dokploy covers the same deployment ground as Vexlyx, Git-based Docker app deploys, and adds multi-user support out of the box, which Vexlyx also has. Most of its codebase is Apache 2.0, with a proprietary directory reserved for future paid features; Vexlyx is MIT throughout.
The gap is the same one that shows up across most deploy-first panels: no built-in mail server or DNS hosting that we could find in Dokploy's own docs, and WordPress support isn't documented either. If your server only ever needs to run containerized apps, that's not a gap that matters. If you also want to stop paying for separate email hosting or a separate DNS provider, it is.
Pick Vexlyx if
you want app hosting, mail, and DNS under one roof.
Dokploy may fit better if
you specifically want Dokploy's multi-server/cluster deployment model and don't need mail or DNS handled by the same tool.
